Our second showcase event will be hosted by the Viva Vegas Diner, the 1950’s themed Bar & Grill ran by the festival host venue, Viva Blackpool. Open from Friday and Saturday, members of the public will gain free entry to the event as we showcase new films submitted to our festival. Audiences will have the chance to purchase tickets for the festival located above the Diner.
Our final showcase event leading up to the festival, hosted by Blott Art Gallery. On the day of the festival event, filmmakers and audiences will have the chance to see some of the best films that didn’t make it to nomination. This intimate space will allow festival goers to meet and converse in the afternoon prior to the hugely anticipated festival event in the evening.
Our first showcase event will be hosted by Houndshill Shopping Centre, in the centre of Blackpool. For 1 weekend the shop unit will be open to the general public for free as we present multiple films on various screens. Customers will be able to immerse themselves within the film with headphones for each screen. Plaques provided will inform the audience of the films in their respected playlists containing details and a short synopsis.
